TOS

The following is the terms and conditions between the client ("you") and artist ("I" or "me"). By commissioning me, you agree to these conditions. Terms of service may change at any time, with or without notice.I. You must be 18 years of age or older to commission me.II. I reserve all rights to the art.III. When completed, you will receive a low-resolution, watermarked, Glazed .PNG file for sharing, and a high-resolution, non-watermarked, non-Glazed .PNG file for personal use. Additional files, including the .PSD, can be provided upon request, at no additional cost.

- Post the web version to sites and social media where allowed, with credit.
- Make prints for personal use.
- Transfer to another person when selling/trading a character featured in the commission.
You may not:
- Use the art commercially, including in AI training for commercial usage.
- Sell the art in any form, including NTFs.V. Payment
- I accept payment through PayPal, Boosty, or Zelle.
- For most commissions, half of the payment is due at the sketch stage, and the other half is due after completion. I can also arrange a payment plan.
- For Sketch commissions, full payment is due upfront, and payment plans are not available.VI. Cancellations:
- If the client cancels: I can offer a full refund if I have not started the commission yet. If I have started, I will offer a partial refund: 50% at the sketch phase, and 25% at the colouring phase.
- In the rare event I choose the cancel the commission, I will offer a full refund.VII. Revisions:
- All revisions done before completion are free.
- One free revision is allowed after completion.
- All revisions after the first are $10 each. This fee is waived if the revision is made due to my own error (e.g., I forgot a detail shown on the ref sheet).

Will Not Draw

Real people
I will not mimic other styles. Character designs with distinct styles (e.g., My Little Pony) will be translated into my own style. If I feel that I am unable to translate the character into my style, I will ask you to choose another character, or decline the commission.
Anything else at my discretion, with or without reason.

How to order

Email: LittleMagpieStudio[at]gmail[dot]com1. When a round of slots open, contact me via email or Discord, with a visual reference of your character and your commission idea. If your commission is accepted for the current round, I'll let you know.
1a. I do not use wait lists. I will not accept commissions between rounds.
1b. If I don't accept your idea in the current round, it does not mean I don't like your idea; I just have very limited slots. Feel free to pitch your idea again in the next round.2. If there is an approval stage, I'll draw one or two sketches for you to approve. If the commission type has no approval stage, then it will be completed as quickly as possible. Payment must be made at this point.
2a. Please understand I'm not a full-time artist (I have another full-time job) and completion may take a while.3. I send you a preview just before finishing, where revision(s) can be requested. This applies to artistic freedom and sketches as well, to ensure I draw your character accurately.4. With the final approval, I'll send you the files, done and done! At this point you are free to share the art.
4a. Please only share the web version (with watermark) online.
4b. NB: I may not post the commission immediately, or at all; this is not a reflection of how I feel about the commission, I just take my time when posting my art online.

All prices are in USD. Payment via PayPal (preferred), Zelle, or Boosty.Traditional work available upon request.

Fees

Complex designs: Xenomorphs, mecha, intricate details, and multiple limbs (excluding wings) on a character will incur a fee. I'll notify you ahead of time if your character counts as complex.Alternate versions: I can make multiple versions of the same commission for a fee, ranging from 10% to 50% of the price depending on the amount of alteration.

Discounts

Discounts do not stack; largest discount will be applied.Preferred Topics - 10% off total price for any of the following:

Tier 1 - Sketch

Portrait: $50 per character
Full Body: $100 per character
(up to 4 characters)
